Do you have an equation in the same paragraph as right to left text content? If so, the equation may not print.
The Word 2007 equation editor has its own 'shorthand' for equations (Ctrl+H is the regular Word shortcut for bringing up the Replace
dialog (don't recall why 'h' was chosen for that <g>) and in the equation editor you're still in the Word interface, rather than in
the embedded MS Word Equation 3.0 editor, so reusing the same shortcuts wasn't possible.
The older equation editor is still available through Insert=>Object=>object if you prefer.
If you insert a new style Equation (alt=), that brings up the
Equation Tools=>Design ribbon.
On the left side click on the launcher (tiny arrow in a square at the bottom right of the 'Tools' group) and then click on [Math
Autocorrect]
In addition there are other shortcuts. For example to superscript a character type a caret (shifted 6 on typing keyboard). For
subscript use an underscore.
For example type
x^2(space)
or
x_2(space)
The space character (or other punctuation) activates the 'shift' in the equation as you type.

I just started using Word 2007 and created a document with equations.
However, the equations show but don't print. Also, are the previous keyboard
shortcuts available for equation editor such as crtl+H for exponents, etc.<<
