I have been playing with the new inbuilt equation editing in Word 2007.
It has some nice features but I am puzzled to find that equations in
'professional' form cannot easily be numbered in the right margin
because they are then converted to 'inline' form, an action which
changes their formatting.
I eventually numbered professional format equations by putting them in a
two column table but this is very messy. Does anyone know if there is an
easy way to number Word 2007 inbuilt equations while keeping them in
professional form?
