erased programs

somehow office professional xp was erased from my computer (except access...)
and I can't find my original disk to reinstall. Do I have no choice but to
purchase again? I had purchased from compuserve and upgraded from home
edition to professional. Who knows maybe they never gave us the disk to
begin with. We can't remember...

You are confusing Office with Windows operating system. There is no Office
Home Edition. It's Windows XP Home Edition and you upgraded to Windows XP
Professional. No version of Windows comes with Office.
