Erasing with a pen

I have a laptop w/ One sp1which I use with an Acecad
Tablet.

I have just found out that i can erase pen writing by
scribbling over it. Is it documented somewhere?

It's documented in the Tablet PC section of Microsoft's website as well as
mentioned in a few OneNote articles. OneNote SP1 does not itself support the
scratchout gesture, but now is able to make use of it. Gestures are an Ink
function, supplied by the Tablet, and not a native OneNote function.
