The version number is v20026001183, does this help?

Hi Karin,

Can you tell me what operating system that you are
running?

I'd also like you to check the version of the Windows
Installer that you have, but going to Start/Run and
typing the following command line:

msiexec.exe

You should receive and "Incorrect command line parameter"
error dialog, and in that dialog it will list the version
number of the Windows Installer from your system.

Thanks!

I have tried the E:\data1.msi to no avail, I continue to
get the same message. I can't even uninstall off2000
Premium; it refers me back to the installion window with
the message: file Microsoft Office 2000 Premium is not a
valid installation package. Try to find data1. msi in a
folder from which you can install Microsoft Office
Premium. But running the E:\data1.msi didn't help, it ran
but came back to this message. I also uninstalled patch 4
and tried patch 2 incase that was effecting it, but no
change.
