ERP group creation

Is there a way to create a group of persons in the ERP such that the entire
group can be assigned to a task in MS Project?

This is not possible. You need to assign each person to the task. Hope
this helps.

This is not possible in Project Server 2003, however 2007 will support this
type of functionality.
