I am running Word 2003 w/Vista and I use autotext/autocomplete all the time.
For some apparent reason and out of the blue, the mouse and keyboard have
displayed very erratic behaviour. The cursor appears to be "jumpy" and
constantly switches from the "arrow" icon to the "select" icon and when I
press the up/down arrow on the keyboard, it jumps about 8-10 lines in either
direction. And this only happens in Word.
I initially thought this was because of a wireless mouse/keyboard setup so I
removed and uninstalled the program that it was associated with, and now use
a MS USB-plug in keyboard and mouse and still have the problem. I have also
removed all auto-text entries, renamed normal.dot, rebooted, uninstalled then
reinstall Office and am now at a loss as to what to do next. As far as I
know, no new software has been installed as I know this can create conflicts.
I also have not been able to find answers here, yet.
