Erro opening visio.

Hello ,
I have received a Visio file in mail and when trying to open this file I get
the following error,
"File cannot be opened because it was created with a newer or unrecognised
version of visio."

I have MS visio 2002 installed on my PC.

Do i need to upgrade Visio , if yes how to know to which version .

The easiest option initially is to ask the sender to save the file in
Visio 2002 format for you.

Otherwise you will need to upgrade to Visio 2003 or Visio 2007.

Thanks , Ill try the upgrade as resending is not possible.
