Error 0x80040900 in Outlook via Comcast.net

I am using Windows XP Home Edition, SP3, X86PC, System 32, Microsoft Office
2003, Outlook 2003, Comcast High Speed Cable Internet.

I used the Microsoft Wizard to change from Outlook Express 2003 to Microsoft
Outlook 2003. I followed the Wizard very carefully.

But now, all I can receive is the following error message:

Task "POP3 - receiving report error (0x80040900)
The server name you entered cannot be found on the network.
Please verify that you are online and that the server name is correct.

I am a computer novice.

Please inform me how to correct this problem.

I will be grateful for your help.

Have you checked that you are not using Port 25 but rather Port 587 in your Outlook
mail setup.
