Error 0x8004210C message marked for download no longer on server

Using Outlook 2000 I repeatedly get error message:-
reported error (0x8004210C) : 'Some messages you marked for download are no
longer available on the server.'
I cannot find any messages marked for download in my Outlook Inbox. How do
I get rid of this error message?

Tools/send and receive/process all marked headers - see if that helps.

Thanks but I do not appear ro have the Tools/send and receive/process all
marked headers option. Could be due to typo in original message I am using
Outlook 2002.
