Error 1 Unexpected end of file

I am using Visio 2003 and trying to open a Visio Technical drawing. I get an Error 1 Unexpected end of file error while attemtping to open. Does anyone know what this message is?

It sounds like the file is not all there. Make sure that you have a
persistent connection to the file store (floppy/CD in drive, connectivity to
network, etc.) Beyond that, does it still open in Visio Technical today?

If it does open in Visio Technical but will not open in Visio 2003, you can
send a copy to us. Perhaps we can determine what is wrong. However, that
error message likely indicates that the file is not completely intact.

You can send me the file if you want us to analyze it. Remove "online" from
my e-mail address.

Your best option for getting something usable in Visio 2003 is to modify the
file in Visio Technical to see what has to be done to get it to open. For
example:

- Can you select all and copy to a new document in Visio Technical, and
then open that document in Visio 2003?
- Can you delete one or more shapes/pages/layers and open the document in
Visio 2003?

This is all very hit or miss, but the assumption is that a specific portion
of the document is causing the problem.
