I've got a user using Entourage with IMAP. User is checking two accounts,
both are giving the same 1025 error. Other IMAP clients (including a webmail
setup) do not produce the same errors. Additionally, the mail admin checked
her email accounts, and both look ok. User is running a MacBook Pro and
Office 2004. I have not verified that she has the latest updates for Office
2004, but I believe she does.
I've had her run the Database Utility to check for a corrupt database. It
didn't find any errors. It seems to happen either when she sends a new
email, or when she views a new folder, she'll get an error 1025. It'll note
when she sends a message "Unable to add message to IMAP mailbox. The
corresponding local folder will be used instead." When she's tried to look at
a different folder, it'll say "Mailbox /home/xxxxxx/Deleted Messages is
locked, will override in 300 seconds..." It may have had a few other
messages, but they're all listed as error 1025 in the lower-left hand corner
of the error box.
At first, this looks like a pure IMAP issue, but the fact that other clients
lead me to believe otherwise. Any thoughts?
