error -10660, Print To PDF

Hi there,

What is error -10660 in Word Office X 10.1.4? I am on Panther 10.3.1,
Powerbook 17, 1.33 MHz All this started happening after this....

Here is new "issue"

I opened Adobe Acrobat file, and since it was the 1st time Acrobat Reader
was launched after your com.apple.systempreferences.plist Trashing, Acrobat
Reader offered to be my Default PDF Application (see this weird screenshot)
I checked NO, but it still "took over".

Prior to that I did have an incident when I had to Force Quit the Finder due
a spinning ball. It didn't Relaunch!!!, and I had to hold the Power Button
to Restart.

Now I can't get Preview to be the Default PDF Application, i.e. to Print to
PDF in Word's Print Dialog Box. I also noticed that in Word, if Formatting
Palette is open, when I do Save to PDF, the suggested name for saving is
Formatting Palette, instead of the name of the file. I haven't seen this
before.

This PDF Acrobat "takeover" is not happening in my other User, but
Formatting Palette as a suggested file name for Save to PDF does exit, I
think.

I tried deleting Acrobat Prefs, com.apple.systempreferences.plist for a
minute it did help with PDF "take over" for a while, but not with Formatting
Palette as a suggested file name for Save to PDF in Word.

This solved the Default Application for PDF's issue --

I Selected a file that you want Preview to open and
did a Get Info, Select "Open with Applications" and select Preview. Then
click on the button for "Change All".

Meanwhile, suggested name for saving, "Formatting Palette", issue is still
happening. Maybe it was there all along, and I am just not aware of it?
Maybe it is a bug, that showed up after I upgraded from 10.2.8 to 10.3.1?

Add to it that I am totally new to Newsgroups!!

A very frustrated,
