Error 1100009

After pushing out SP2, I've got about 700 Vista machines that are throwing an
error "Publisher cannot open the file." when trying to open Publisher
documents. Ctrl+Shift+I gives error 1100009

Any solutions other than removing Office and reinstalling without SP2 on 700
PCs?

Take a look at the thread 'Cannot open files after installing Office
2007 Service Pack 2' started by Stefan Kratzert. A Microsoft
representative has posted in that thread who is investigating this
issue; posting under the name of 'LL3'.
