Error 1321 during apply of Office 2000 WordPerfect 5.x Converter Security Patch:

After my first unsuccessfull attempts at installing the
Office 2000 WordPerfect 5.x Converter Security Patch:
KB824993 (English version) I have since tried down loading
and install the office2000-kb824993-client-enu.exerun with
similar results. I even shut down my machine and rebooted
in safe mode and tried to run the Office2000-kb824993-
client-enu.exerun, all without success. If anyone knows
of a fix for this issue or of a successful work around,
please let me know. Thanks.
