Error 1325, 'Templates" not a vaild short file name .

I keep getting this error code message when attempting to install Office 2000
premium, in my system.. The system boots off the disk to install, but the
error comes up, then will not download.. Then it saysthe down load came to a
premature end.. What do I need to fix to get this to download.. Appears to
be a software problem.. Thanks for any help..
