I am having a problem with MS Outlook and Daylight
Savings Time (System clock and Outlook do not agree when
DST is enabled) and the knowledge base indicates that I
need to apply service packs to correct the problem. It
seems that the Office XP that I received with my computer
is an "Unreleased" version that gives Error 1328 when I
try to install SP1. I am elegible to buy Office XP at
Academic discount and don't have a particular problem
with buying a "Retail" (read "Academic") copy but I have
the following questions.
1. Will I need to uninstall what is currently on my
machine or can I simply use the new CD to install the SP?
2. I currently have Office Professional w/Frontpage.
The only problem I have is with Outlook. Can I get by
with buying an Academic Office Standard to apply the SP?
I would appreciate it if answers could be copied to my e-
mail.
Thanks
