Error 1328 Please help if you can

I keep getting an error 1328 error applying patch to file
C:\Config.Msi\PT597.tmp it has probably been updated by
other means and can no longer be modified by this patch,
for more information contact your patch vendor. I have
tried to find how to fix but I am unable to, can anyone
please please help, with any ideas or information.
