Error 1335. The cabinet file 'L3561412.CAB' is corrupt

I am trying to upload the disk copy of my MS Office Professional backup CD to
my new laptop. Per the license agreement I can have one copy on my personal
PC and one on a laptop. I bought the product several years ago for my PC
(preloaded), but I never used the disk before. When trying to load the
software I receive the following message early in the installtion:

"Error 1335. The cabinet file 'L3561412.CAB' required for this installation
is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error
reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with the package."

Any suggestions? Can I get a "clean" copy of the disk or a download with my
25 # Product key?

Copies of Office that come preinstalled on a computer by the computer
manufacturer are usually OEM versions, which means that the software is
only licensed for installation on the computer that the software came
on, and the software is not licensed for installation on any other
computer. Most retail versions of Office are licensed for installation
on one desktop and one laptop, but you probably don't have a retail
version. Read your End User License Agreement to see how many computers
you can install your particular copy of Office on.
