Error 1402 When installing Outlook 2002

I'm running Windows XP. When I try to install Outlook
2002 I get the following Error message during setup:

Error 1402. Setup cannot open registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Exte
nsions. Verify that you have sufficient permissions to
access the registry or contact your computer
manufacturer's support for Assistance.

How can I avoid this so that I can get Outlook 2002
installed?
