Error 1402

We uninstalled office and then tried to reinstall. We got "Error 1402. Could not open key. Verify that you have sufficient access to the key." Help

How can I tell if I am logged in as the admin? Is that the "Welcome to Windows" User name and password? If it is then yes I am logged on as the admin. Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
