Error -16999

I am a new Mac user and have been trying to set up Entourage for Yahoo POP mail. I can only get so far (pulling old messages from the server) until I receive the error -16999 (problem retrieving message). I've played around with the account settings but nothing seems to work - it continues to get hung up. Any suggestions? I thought Macs were supposed to easy and painless!

In follow up - the error seems to be associated with messages that have attachments because when I delete those messages from the server, Entourage will continue to retrieve messages until it hits another message with an attachment. I don't know if it's related to message size or what? Thanks for any input.

Solution: Try using account with secure password selected and not selected.

In the Account window, select "Click here for advanced receiving options
button". Toggle "Always use secure password" Try to receive mail again.
