error 1706 but I don't have the CD

I'm stuck in a loop. The auto-update has downloaded the
new Office XP patch and everytime I click on explorer it
tries to install the patch. At the end it asks for the
original CD, but I have to cancel out of it because I
don't know where it is. Can anyone help?
