Error 1706 everytime I open Office files

Everytime I open Office files (Word, Excel, Access,...),
a Windows Installer would always initiate and eventually
asks me for the installation CD. My computer came with MS
Office preinstalled so I don't have the CD. Could anyone
help me to get around with this problem. It's so
frustrating.

Preinstalled or not, you should have received an Office CD with the
computer. You should contact the manufacturer.
