When I try use a graph [insert > object > microsoft graph
2000 chart ], error 1706 appears. This occurs when I log
on as a "user". When I log on as an administrator, the
error message does not appear.
The first time I installed Office 2000 Small Business, I
selected "typical" install. The error appeared, so I
uninstalled disk 2 and disk 1 of Office 2000 SB,
rebooted, installed disk one, selected "custom" install,
selected "run all from "my computer" ". The same problem
occurs.
Prior to the error 1706 message, Word tells me that it
can not find disk 2, even though disk 2 is in the cd
drive. The PC has only 1 disk drive. I have tried
removing, rotating and re-inserting the disk.
I searched the KB, but some articles state that I must
have Windows 2000 or NT4.
Your attention to my problem is appreciated.
