At some sites such as the children's site ultimatearcade.com a window also
comes up saying "error 1706 no valid source for ms office 2000 sr-1,
installer cannot continue". I must close this 2 to 3 times to continue
without further problems. Event viewer is also showing this and "html
source editing feature detection failed. I have office 2003 installed and
working fine. Truly do not understand the connection with installing 2000
and a children's game website.
Have posted before and told to run 171 from
kelly's-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.html but that did not help. Short of
deleting and reinstalling office, which probably wouldn't help, is there a
way to overcome this problem?
