Error 1706

Windows installer continuly pops up when booting up
computer. I get the following error code: "Error 1706. No
valid source could be found for product Main Office. The
Windows Installer cannot continue."How do I correct this?

Hugh:

Make the user an Admin gp member
Respond do the installer prompt
Test
Remove Admin gp membership from the user acct


If that does not work, note that I have had to delete the user acct and
profile to stop the dialog from displaying
