Error -17099

On sending to one (so far) domain only, I get this error number, with the
details <recipient address> 'Recipient Address rejected. Domain not found'
This looks like a DNS problem, but I can send to the same recipient via
webmail no problem (using same SMTP server). I can receive normally from
this recipient, and otherwise I'm sending and receiving normally.
Any ideas? It started today with no changes to my configurations.
Entourage 2004 with SP1, OS 10.3.6

Well my latest test message has hung around in my outbox refusing to be sent
for 24 hours, but has now at last gone. I'm glad it's resolved, and if
anyone can give me a clue I would be happy...
