Dear Sirs,

All of a sudden I am having trouble with sending e-mails through entourage. The error description that shows is as follows:

Service unavailable; Client host [isp-baq-5.255.91.200.intelioffice.net.co] blocked using Barracuda Reputation; <http://bbl.barracudacentral.com/q.cgi?ip=200.91.255.5>

At the bottom of the window it says "Error: -17099"

What do you think the problem might be?

Thanks and I will be waiting for your reply.

Thanks,

Puma

Thanks Adam for your reply.

However, I have been connected through 3 different ISP's in different locations and the error message keeps coming up in all of them. Unless they all have been blacklisted by a spam prevention tool, which I would think is a big coincidence.

Error keeps coming up...

Thank Diane... No, I am not sending to large groups, as a matter of fact I now have one message in my outbox waiting to be sent just as a trial to myself (a hotmail account) and it does not send it.

On the other hand, what is relay? I am not sure if I am using that; how do I find out?

On the other hand, what is relay? I am not sure if I am using that; how do I
find out?

Relay is when you use a different SMTP. For example, if I want to send my
pair.com account through my Comcast provider, I can use relay.pair.com
instead of smtp.comcast.net. Some providers will not let you use relay. You
can always use your provider's SMTP for sending.

Do you have your Hotmail account set up as POP or as a web account?

Setup Windows Live Hotmail in Entourage as a POP account

<http://tinyurl.com/cr8u3c>

1. If you can receive but not send then you have a bad SMTP configuration
2. If you can send but not receive you have a bad POP or IMAP configuration

You can try re-entering info.
You can delete account and create a new one.
Using copy/paste can result in an extra space being added. Type carefully.
Check your Keychain for corruption.
