subject line pretty much says it all. Running Office XP
Professional at the moment, and tried installing Office
2003 Professional. Doing the recommended 'upgrade'
option during the setup, it runs for a few moments, then
error message pops up saying that the old version can not
be deleted and to contact my system administrator (which,
unfortunately, is me). The installer then locks up and I
have to reboot to get it off there. Now my system is
acting screwy (outlook no longer sends or receives mail,
complaining of a terminal error), and I can't get Office
2003 set up no matter what I try.
Any suggestions?
