Error 1904

When trying to re-install the MSN Stock Quote add-in (I used to have it and
it worked for years until a few weeks ago) I get the following error:

Error 1904. Module C:program Files\MSNStockQuote\MSNStockQuoteUI.dll failed
to register HRESULT -2147467259. Contact your support personnel.

I have been all over microsoft and the internet looking for a fix. I have
run a registry cleaner. I have uninstalled and re-installed the add-in
dozens of times. I have uninstalled and re-installed MS office. Today I
re-installed (but did not uninstall) Windows XP. I have tried copying the
files from a computer on which the add-un worked. None of this has made a
dent. Does anyone know how to fix this error?
