I have talked with tech support from dell and they are unable to help me. I
am trying to install ms office professional on my laptop I get an error 1919
error configuring ODBC datasource: Ms Scess database ODBC error 6: component
not found in the registry. verify that the file ms access database exists and
that you can access it. we have uninstalled office and reinstalled complete
program with same error message. Of course Dell apologized and said to
contact microsoft for the problem. Also via the data source the list of
drivers in comparision to my home computer I am missing Ms Access Driver
(*.mdb) I have tried to export from my home computer the Hkey but unable
something about not being authorized. How can I get this driver fixed and the
registry as the keys are missing. The mcad downloads also are incompatiable
to my system when I downloaded it. I think I am at a lost in trying
everything I have found on the internet suggestions. Any help is greatly
appreciated.
