Hi,
I'm trying to add access 2000 to an office 2000 Pro setup
on a laptop and am getting the following message:
Error 1926. Could not set file security for
file 'C:\Config.Msi\'. Error: 5. Verify that you have
sufficient privileges to modify the security permissions
for this file.
I have run the install as both the local or domain admin
(who have full control rights to the drive).
This error occurs if I attempt an update, repair, remove
or add an service pack to the office 2000 professional
installation.
Unfortunately, there are no references to this in the
knowledge base - Just two references - one for .NET and
the other for Services for UNIX 3 - neither of which are
loaded on this laptop.
Any help would be appreciated. I really don't think fdisk
is an option although it may be the only way.
Thanks in Advance,
Henry
