ERROR 1933

I HAVE XP ON MY COMPUTER -- I HAVE DECIDED TO PUT OFFICE
2000 ON MY NEW HARD DRIVE, BUT THIS IS THE MESSAGE I GET

"ERROR 1933 WINDOWS INSTALLER COULD NOT UPDATE ONE OR
MORE PROTECTED WINDOW FILES -- WHAT DO I DO?

Have you gotten any help yet with that error. I am getting the same error and don't know what to do

I cannot answer this question for sure, but I think I may know what the
problem is. It seems that a lot of programs that work with Windows 98 do not
work with Windows XP. For each of these programs, a new upgrade is needed.
This may be one of those programs.
