Error 2203 when installing Office 07 w/Vista Home basic

I received Error 2203 while trying to install Office 2007 Enterprise onto my
machine with Vista Home basic. I read through the other posts related to
Error 2203 but those were tied to different versions of Windows.
Is there a way to correct this error?
I purchased the Enterprise edition through my college's work at home program
and they are not familiar with the error message either. They did give me the
option to return the software if I can't get it to run but I'm hoping someone
can assist me here.

I tried looking for Error 2203 on the Microsoft knowledgebase. In the
previous version of Office (2003 and 2000) it seems that the folder where the
installation program works on has a problem with permissions. I suggest you
take a look at the possibility of making the solutions described here work in
Windows Vista
