Error 25003

L

lramsdale

I have been performing an office 2003 upgrade happily (via SMS 2003) until
recently certain clients (sx270 machines) have failed to upgrade with the
following error message:

quote:

Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 -- Error 25003. Microsoft Office
Setup cannot continue because the installation source has been corrupted.

Strangely this only occurs on specific models, which may be build specific,
but when i map a drive to the package share and use exactly the same syntax
via the command line it installs ok...

What is going on here? any pointers on log files or trouble shooting tips?

Hi L.,

There are a couple of scenarios where you can come
across that error in an upgrade situation in Office XP
or Office 2003. See if this article or the Error 25003
article it links to helps.

Look to see if your not finding the qualifying product if
you're using upgrade media.
