Error 25004 in OUtlook 2007 setup

Hi,

I installed Outllook 2007 on my Windows 7 machine. However, when I try to
run it during the set up I getr teh following error message:

Error 25004. Config.Xml not specified; A valid config.xml file must be
authored when deploying '(null)'.

I click OK and then I get a message box titled Problem with Shortcut
with "Fatal error during installation" in the body of the message box.

I uninstalled outllok and tried it again w/o success.

Prior to installing Outlook 2007 did you ensure that all Windows 7
updates and most recent drivers were installed? Also, did you perform a
custom ("clean") or upgrade install when moving to Windows 7?

Have you tried a different CD for Outlook 2007 to troubleshoot the media
itself?

Also, Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located

as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to check the
threads available there for additional assistance and feedback.
