Error 2902. An internal error has occurred

When I run the MS Baseline Security Analyzer it tells me that I need
Update for Office 2003 (KB885828)
Update for Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB892236)

I have downloaded and saved both of these updates.

When I try to run either update I get:
Error 2902. An internal error has occurred. (ixAssemblyCopy )
Contact your Information Technology department for assistance.

I get this error on my XP desktop and XP laptop. I would appreciate any
suggestions on how to successfully run these updates.

Hi, woody,

A couple of people have had luck with this error by repairing the Office
installation and trying again. Run setup again and choose to repair.
