Error 2905 with Outlook 2003 SP2 on XP SP2 for Detect and Repair

A user had a problem with his XP SP2 and Outlook 2003 SP2 machine with his
outlook.ost seemingly having a problem. I renamed it outlook.ost_old and
that didn't help, the recreated file did not make it over 125MB and "hung"
it was supposed to go over 2GB (as the previous one was).

I tried to do a Detect and Repair and got the error below:

Error 2905. An internal error has occurred.
(C:\WINDOWS\Intstaller\MSI74.tmp) Contact your Information Technology
department for assistance.


My next step is to unisntall Outlook and install it again.

Anything I might have done wrong?
