Error 4363 when opening the "Deleted Items" folder

My wife's Macmini is running Mac OS X v10.4.10 with Entourage 2004 v11.3.3.

She is having a problem opening the "Deleted Items" folder, everything she
highlights the folder "An unknown error (4363) occured." dialog opens up.
We want to open the "Deleted Items" folder to retrieve an item that she
deleted by accident. The"Deleted Items" folder is flagged with a "Red Flag".

Any suggestions? I've tried the rebuild, but I get no response or
indication that anything is happening.

If you get error 4363 on a transmission attempt, and you have one or more
attachments, try deleting and re-attaching the file or files.

Try this:

1. Create a custom Mail view to show flagged messages only.
2. In the custom view select the problem message and delete it.

Let me know if this works.
