I have a user that has Mac 0S 10 on her ibook and she is using entourage for
her email. we have an exchange 2003 server and when she tries to send email
she gets and error message:
"an unknown error (4363) occurred" Has anyone seen this message before?

I would highly suggest having that user back up their current identity and
try to perform a rebuild using the Database Utility. You can manually run it
from the "Office" folder, or if you hold down Option when you launch
Entourage, it will launch the Utility. I would try a typical (aka compact)
rebuild, and if that fails or doesn't fix the issue, try the advanced
rebuild.

Check out http://www.entourage.mvps.org/database/rebuild.html for more
detailed instructions.

Error 4363 is eFILE_MGR_BLOCK_TAGS_DONT_MATCH, and indicates there is some
problem with the database, generally requiring some kind of rebuild.

Does she have attachments in the mail she is sending? If so, try deleting
them and re-adding and sending again.

Thanks,

I'm having the same problem (OS X 10.4.2/Entourage11.2.0), but in my
case, scan, compact and rebuild database all also generate 4363
messages. The messages are all tied to a single folder (2005 Received),
which I can't access, rename, or copy to the desktop. Is there anything
I can do to be able to rebuild?
