error 5

Hi,
following code results in an error 5

DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputReport, "Brief aan arts_JP", acFormatTXT, filenaam

The errormessage says (and now I have to translate) illegal
procedure-call or illegal argument

dono what is wrong with the code.
Can somebody help?

read up on the OutputTo Method topic in Access Help. the issue may be with
the value you entered for the OutputFile argument.
