error 550 unable to publish in frontpage 2000

having trouble publishing my webpage, get an error message
"550~xxxxxxx/public_html : no such file or directory
using ftp with in frontpage, Isp says password and everything is good
have published this way before no problem now cannot get past the error
..please help.

Sometimes the built-in FP FTP program doesn't properly work in some cases,
and you'll need to find and download a thirdy party FTP program.
