Error 550 xxx.htm: Permission denied

I am not able to upload any file (eg xxx.htm) to my website and get the following error message: 550 xxx.htm: Permission denied

I had no problems until a couple of weeks ago and then this problem came out...

Any suggestion would be much appreciated

550 is a server permissions error. Have your host check the permissions setting for your
domain.
