Error _ cannot find a file to install!

I am installing a trial version Office Standard 2007 and it has stopped
downloading and now it says, "Cannot find Proofing.en-us\Proof.fr\Proof.cab
Browse valid installation source, and then click ok" what is this and what
do I need to do?

I have the same issue. Fresh install of Vista 32 and Office 2007 Enterprise.

I see the cab file in the CD, so why is not installing and neither giving a
corrupt error or something?

Has anyone found how to get it fix?

I have the same problem with a different CAB/file but I have a licensed
download that I am trying to reinstall because of errors in Outlook

My case the file was burned "corrupted" into the CD... thas why could neither
copy/paste from CD to Desktop. Re-burn in a more reliable manner and now
wokrs.

I am having the same problem. Where do I find the missing file? Do I need to
download it from somewhere?

Demanding help a newsgroup that is answered by VOLUNTEERS in OUR spare time
is really quite rude and likely to move you to the bottom of the list. You
might want to consider that in your NEXT posting.

For Shelbydog - As that error message has to to more with Word then Access I
would cross post to the Office Setup and Word newsgroups to see if someone
found a solution there.

For nin7 - I recommend the Office Set Setup newsgroup.
