Error Access has encountered a problem

M

Everytime I run the exit command (Access 2002) via a
button, or from the File menu bar option, the following
message appears: Access has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. I
then have an option to send the error report or Don't Send
in addition to restarting MS Access. Is anyone aware of a
fix for this bug?

Doubt that it's a bug. Likely the database is corrupted, or you're running
code that is leaving some "objects" dangling and closing ACCESS is creating
a conflict.

Check out Tony Toews' web site for handling corruptions:

Corrupt Microsoft Access MDBs FAQ
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm

Otherwise, we'd need much more info about your database and its setup.
