Error accessing file

I have a database that I have been enhancing steadily over
the years for tracking time of my employees. Today I
received a vb error that I have never received before and
don't know how to handle. The message:

"Error accessing file. Network connection may have been
lost."

The network connection seems fine for everything else. I
have an MDB with all of my forms, code, etc linked to
another MDB containing my data. I can open the linked
tables with no problem and see all of my data. But when I
try opening any of my forms I get the above message.

I am running Access 2000.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

If it is not a network issue, it may be this nasty bug:
ACC2000: Error Message: Error Accessing File. Network Connection May
Have Been Lost.
