Error Accessing Front Page Web Files

Whenever I try to save photos to my webpage I get the following error message "An error occured accessing your Front Page Web files. Authors - if authoring against a web server please contact the webmaster for this servers site. Webmasters - please see the server's system log for more details

I can save Thumbnails of photos and text changes, but not the original photo. Does anyone have a clue? My computer is not on a server and the front page files are all on my harddrive. I have never had the problem before. I last updated it last month and had no problems.

What format are the originals (jpg or gif)
You should be editing them in an image editor before you import them in FP

They are JPG files (photographs from a digital camera). I've always edited them in frontpage and never had problems before. I don't like to edit them before I import them because I like them to retain their size. (I typically make them smaller for front page.
