Error Message:
Error!
The account information for the Microsoft Office Project Server WSS Admin
COM+ application is incorrect.
To set the account information, run the PSCOMPlus tool installed with
Project Server, and set the Windows account that the component should run as.
For more information, refer to the Microsoft Office Project Server 2003
Installation Guide on the Microsoft Office Project Server menu (Start menu,
Programs submenu).
Steps taken:
I have run the PSCom+ utility countless times, with varying users ranging
from the ProjServ user account, it once worked with, to the local
administrator account, to eliminate lack of premissions as a cuase.
I have made sure the ProjServ user has the "Logon as a batch
job’ security right." (As per : http://ureader.com/message/1517347.aspx)
I have reset IIS, not sure if that would help at all, but thought it was
worth a shot.
Read countless group discussions, without finding the right one for me.
Server Setup Info:
SQL Server, PWA, WSS all running on the same machine.
2 seperate PWA sites running, both are having this same issue.
The server is behind a Cisco firewall (515E), but acsessable externally,
infact other than testing/setup that is the only way it is accessed as we are
just hosting for a client.
