Error - BCM Install (Program & SQL)?

When I tried to install BCM (2007) on an XP Pro laptop with my Action Pack
DVD, the installation process stopped near the end and the following message:
"Setup failed to install Business Conrtact Manager for Outlook 2007. See
C:\Documents and Settings\Gary Phillips\Local Settings\Temp\MBSsetuptmpAD.log
for more detail."

I had no problem installing BCM on my Vista Home Premium desktop from this
same DVD.

Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005 was previously installed on this laptop.
When I do get BCM to install on this laptop, what do I have to do to get BCM
to use this already installed SQL or does BCM just install its own SQL
instance automatically under the Microsoft SQL folder?

What do I have to do to get BCM to install and work properly on this Laptop?
